Then intrigue separates the two and you just don't know what happens, the book just takes you for a roller coaster ride of first heartbreak (I wanted to hate the author for a minute) to sadness, to heartwarming, to nervous, to happily ever after.

Totally loyal to the land that she loves, Season refuses to sell no matter the cost. But then comes Rann (oh boy does he come into the picture - whew boy, hubba hubba!) the pretty face that comes to ask her to sell. But the only thing that he really wants from her she might be too stubborn to believe. Poor Season, come on girl - take a chance before I take him away.
