Review:

Luna ran into a bit of weather while driving, as well as a sign from the Inn she was trying to get to. What she hadn't expected was the gruff werewolf that greeted her when she arrived. Oliver, the grump in question, has no desire to deal with a spoiled brat socialite. But what choice does he have? He's accidentally wedded to her. What ensues is hilarity and heartfelt in equal measures. (Well, maybe a little steam thrown in there for good measure.

This book took me by surprise as at the beginning of the book I had a hard time getting ensnared, but once I was I just couldn't stop.

Jade Wheeler did a great job bringing this little ray of sunshine and her grump to life.

Review:

Everyone calls him Gus, but not Nora. She calls him by his given name, and he likes it. When he first met her in the elevator before her interview for his show, he was smitten. But the longer he knows her, the more he falls for her. When she tells him, there's no such things as ghosts (the thing that the show follows and searches for) he finds it endearing and vows to prove her wrong.

Nora was sure the smug guy from the elevator was vying for her potential position, but lo and behold he's not a candidate for hire, he's one of the Chandler brothers and her potential boss. And the longer she is around him, the more she falls for him. Did he just tell him there's no such things as ghosts? As long as she can prove him wrong she gets a free drink drink out of the bargain.

This adorable rom com shows what true talent and imagination can do for a book. Melissa Whitney is a master when it comes to witty banter and a steamy scene. (Wait until you see what happens with Derrick! Mwah ha ha! Not so button up now, are you?)

Review: Warrick by Liza Bee

Warrick: Rocky Mountain Pack by Liza Bee

Even without having read book one of this wonderful series (or so I'm assuming since this one was so good) this book gave me everything I needed to catch up on the happenings of the last book as well as giving me a full and captivating look at Aspen and Warrick's story.

I felt everything that Aspen was going through in this book. How did she deal with such heartbreak over and over from Warrick and still find love? (You'll have to read to find out, won't you?) I loved watching Aspen grow from someone who wasn't willing to face the hard stuff to someone who stood up for what she needed.

And Warrick... I wanted to bitch slap him a couple of times in the book, but once he pulled his head out of his butt and started doing the right things... well... I fell in love. Way to go, Warrick. You can teach an old wolf new tricks.

I Am the Storm by Karpov Kinrade

Another win for Karpov Kinrade. Picking up from where Eve left us hanging in the last book you are thrown immediately into a whirlwind of suspense and intrigue. Will Liam be charged, who's really behind the whole theft of the dragon egg? You learn a little about the controversy of philosophy as it relates to real life. KK has you questioning everything you thought you knew and leaves you with a better understanding of yourself. It's not just a fantastic story but it's a work of art.

I love how real the characters become, how you can relate to Eve's dilemma of who to care for, who to love. It's the perfect balance of story, feeling, and character.

I will admit though that at first, it was hard to get your head around the love square (it has four sides, not three) going on and who Eve has done with whom. But once you get into the story a bit more you can get your bearings.
